Topic: How can Agilists support their neurodivergent colleagues?

15-20% of the world population are neurodivergent, and their numbers are just increasing as more and more is found and understood about how human brains work and function. In the Tech world the numbers might be even higher, yet there is not enough talk about what it means for the workforce. In this talk, Anita will be giving all Agilists a few ideas how they can better include their neurodivergent team members in everyday work and why that is important. These practical ideas should be easy to realise to everybody, no matter their knowledge and previous experience with neurodiversity.

Workshop: Neurodiversity in (scrum) teams and why does it matter?

Enough talking by Anita in her talk, let's get to action! In this workshop, together we'll look deeper at the neurodiversity and how we can support our colleagues. At the end of the workshop, participants will walk away with some actionable ideas they can apply and try with their teams. The workshop and the talk are created independently from each other, so you're welcome to join the workshop even if you're not attending the talk (but feel free to join both).
