We’re looking for tools, techniques, ideas, and stories that can help software product teams to create products that people love and to do it in a way that is efficient, effective, and humane. There are two tracks, one for more product design-related content and one for lean/agile topics. We keep the talks short and to the point, with a 30-minute time limit and no Q&A. We are looking for both talks that are practical and actionable (case studies, Workshops can be from 1-4 hours in length.

We need YOU!

We welcome speakers of any gender identity and expression, and regardless of sexual orientation. We're also looking for a mix of experience reports and fresh ideas. If you're in doubt about whether your topic is applicable, please get in touch with paul@wawelhill.com. If your talk is accepted, you can look forward to:

• Free admission to the conference
• Paid travel and accomodation if it is not covered by your employer.
• At least one speaker's dinner.
• If you're new to public speaking, we'll be happy to assist you with preparing your presentation, rehearsing it, and making your first speaking experience as successful as possible.
• We are happy to accommodate the needs of speakers with disabilities and non-neurotypical cognitive styles. There's no need to specify your requirements in the form. If you're invited to speak based on your proposed content, we can talk about how to make the experience comfortable and successful for you. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

As well as terrific conversations at speakers' dinners as well as during the conference, and lots of opportunities to interact with other speakers and attendees. ACE! is about connection and discovery, and we show our appreciation for your contribution by being the best hosts we can be and creating a terrific experience for our speakers. It will feel like a holiday in which you also learn and make new friends.

When writing your talk or workshop description, please write it for the selection committee and not for the audience. The selection committee doesn’t need the sales pitch. We need to know what information you plan to share with our audience. For example, don’t write "I’ll show you have to increase your predictability while doubling your throughput" or "Attend my talk to learn how to consistently delight your users." Tell us how you plan to do it. This isn’t the description that will go into the program; it’s the one that determines if the selection committee feels that your message is a good fit for our audiences’ interests and needs.
