Topic: Learn through game experience, agility by involvement

Learning Agile can be daunting and even dull in theory. Have you ever thought about demonstrating something by involving people in exercise instead of monotonously showing the slides and discussing nuances of frameworks? If at least partially you have answered “yes” and you’d like to have some fun - join us in the session.

There is a saying by Benjamin Franklin “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”.

Topic: Shared Leadership for Better Understanding Agile Teams

Leadership has been considered from almost every angle, and the efforts are going strong. New ideas, books, and fads are popping out frequently. Are you curious if there is something more to say? It is time to embrace shared leadership. The concept established in management studies describes an emergent team phenomenon whereby leadership roles and influence are distributed among team members. This approach has surprising support in studies about team performance, creativity, and more.

The author will share his hard (and less painful) multi-year experience with creating an environment and working as a leader, and share practical tips, present scientific research on leadership, including his own.

Everyone can be a leader. Can this be all so simple? How are Agile Teams different? Expect some answers.

Takeaways:

* Understand the perspective on shared leadership in teams

* Apply practical tips on how to enable shared leadership

* Evaluate own role in enabling shared leadership

* Do not get bored with information research on shared leadership in teams

* Reflect on how to be a better leader
